The covenants set out at Suncastle Park are intended to ensure a respect for the environment, the conservation of fossil fuels and the highest possible construction standards. Suncastle Park is a development on unbroken prairie and natural brush land that is habitat to many species of wildlife. Designs will incorporate as much of the natural landscape as possible and construction will minimize the disturbance of the environment.
- All homes incorporate a passive solar design provided by Suncatcher Solar. We have more than 80 plans to choose from or we can develop a custom plan to your specifications.
- All homes will be crafted by our builder, Jaylin Homes Ltd. or will be constructed under a general contracting agreement with Suncatcher Solar.
- The price of the lot includes servicing by SaskPower and an installed 2 kW grid tied solar power system. This basic grid tied solar power system includes:
- 2 kW solar array
- 3 kW grid-tied inverter
- array flush mounted on roof of home
- installation of the system
- grid-connection fees
- Suncatcher Solar will submit the rebate application forms on behalf of the homeowner. The rebate is 35% of the pre-tax cost of the solar power system. For the basic system this is about $7500. The rebate is available until March 31, 2011.

- Energy Efficient Design is encouraged, including the use of energy efficient lighting and appliances, water saving appliances, and heat recovery systems. Talk to our design team about these features.
- Homes will meet Energy Star requirements. Rebates will apply - $1000 for meeting Energy Star requirements, $1000 for a solar hot water system, $150 for grey water heat recovery system, rebates for energy efficient natural gas appliances. Details . . .
- Home construction or custom design process is to be started within one year of the purchase date for the lot.
