Wind power from wind generators is also an indirect form of solar energy since wind results from differential heating of the earth’s surface by the sun.

Solar Hot Water and Heating Systems: Radiation from the sun heats liquid in a solar thermal collector that transfers the heat to a hot water tank where it can be used for domestic hot water and for space heating.
